Who is responsible
Construct Desk is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and decides how and why it is used.
Data we collect and why
- Account details (name, email, login credentials) — to create and secure your account (contract).
- Project information (company, contact details, project descriptions, uploaded drawings) — to prepare quotations and deliver services (contract).
- Support messages and feedback — to answer questions and improve our service (contract, legitimate interests).
- Technical data (IP address, device and browser identifiers, usage logs) — for security, fraud prevention and reliability (legitimate interests).
Card and payment details are collected directly by our payment processor, Stripe, not by us.
Who we share data with
- Service providers who host our website, database and file storage.
- Stripe, our payment processor, to process card payments and prevent fraud.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
- Authorities where required by law.
Some providers may process data outside The Bahamas; we use providers that apply appropriate safeguards.
Retention
We keep account and project records while your account is active and for as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes. Data is then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights

Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, private file storage and access controls limited to authorised staff.
Cookies
We use only essential browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your session. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear stored data in your browser settings, but you may need to sign in again.
